How Fieldnote is priced
Fieldnote is priced as one flat monthly price for your whole business, not per user. There are three tiers, Route, Territory and Region, and which one you're in depends on how many people use it. You are never invoiced per person, and adding someone inside your tier costs nothing. Every new customer is free until 31 December 2026.
Three tiers, set by how many people use it.
ROUTE
one to three people, a single territory or a business where selling is one or two people's job.
TERRITORY
four to ten people, the usual shape of a feed, seed or crop input business covering a region.
REGION
eleven to twenty-five people, several territories or divisions selling into different species.
Everyone who signs in counts, reps in the truck, the person on the counter, whoever takes the orders in the office. That is deliberate: Fieldnote is only worth having if the whole business can see what was said to a customer.
Your tier is set when you start and only changes if you outgrow it. More than twenty-five people? Call us and we'll work it out.
We'll give you the exact monthly figure on a 30-minute demonstration, once you've seen what it does with your own farms in it.
What's included at every tier.
- Every feature, there is no cut-down tier.
- Anyone at your business who needs it, reps, counter staff, office, dispatch, your manager.
- Your own separate database on its own web address, never shared with another customer.
- Setup, with your lists and questions configured to what you sell and your customer list loaded.
- A nightly backup of your data.
- Support from the people who built it, no offshore queue.
- Your data exported whenever you want it, in a spreadsheet, at no charge.
What costs extra.
Only two things.
A one-time setup fee, waived for anyone who signed on through the farm show offer.
And structured training, if you want it, though most teams don't because Fieldnote is built to be picked up in a call or two.
Free until the end of December,
and longer if you start sooner.
Every new customer uses Fieldnote free through 31 December 2026: no charge for the database, no charge for setup, no minimum commitment. Decide to continue before then and the free period gets longer.

Your paid year starts the day after the free period ends. If you decide it isn't for you, stop, take your data with you and pay nothing.

about the price
Straightforward answers with zero hidden tiers, per-seat surprises, or lock-in traps.
Is Fieldnote priced per user?
You are never invoiced per person. You pay one monthly price for your whole company, and which of the three tiers you're in depends on how many people use it. Adding a fifth person to a Territory-tier business costs nothing extra.
Who counts as a user?
Anyone who signs in: a rep in a truck, the person on the counter, office and dispatch staff, a manager, the owner.
Why aren't the prices on this page?
Because the number means very little until you've seen it working on your own farms. Book a half hour, we'll load your customer list beforehand, and you'll get the exact figure for your team on that call.
Is there a contract?
A one-year subscription agreement, invoiced annually in advance, starting when your free period ends. Before you sign it there is no commitment at all.
Does the price go up after the first year?
Not at your first renewal. A paid year beginning in 2027 keeps the same monthly rate through 2028.
Can we get our data out?
Yes, whenever you want, in a spreadsheet, using the export button inside Fieldnote.
